Mission: Labyrinth of Games

Do you want to push yourselves to your limits? In that case you will have to plunge into the fascinating world of games. Every game inside this labyrinth will lure you and confound your own imagination. If you are not careful you will forget time and space and find yourselves beyond reality. Then you would become prisoners of this virtual dimension and there would be no way out of the labyrinth. You’d only crave to go on playing… and would be lost, if left to your own devices.

Only the best manage to stay focussed on the real world, interpret signs and clues correctly and keep their Mission in mind, i.e. to get out of the labyrinth!

If you choose to leave on this Mission you are already an expert team and we, the Time Busters, will challenge you! We are convinced that this Mission is impossible for normal mortals. If you make it you will get 50% of your fee back in cash.

If you decide to play the Labyrinth of Games Mission, you should better bring an expert Room-Escape team with you! The Mission was conceived not to be impossible, but very hard without the help of the Game Master, that is why you will be rewarded in case of success.

Mission: The Mine

Who was it who at all costs wanted to explore this abandoned mine with its dark, damp galleries and lost or forgotten objects? Well, it doesn’t really matter, because actually you all wanted to undertake a forbidden mystery tour and feel this creepy excitement in your stomachs again, didn’t you? Fair enough, but may be you shouldn’t have broken that lock at the entrance open and ignored the warning signs!

And while these thoughts are crossing your mind, the planks at the gate start to creek and clank louder and louder until finally the adit comes tumbling down in a roar. At this point the old explosion-proof mine telephone unexpectedly rings. You lift the receiver and are petrified, the unavoidable is looming ahead.

ARE YOU REALLY SURE NOBODY IS WATCHING YOU? • CLUE HUNTING ACROSS VIENNA.

What was it that voice with the Russian inflection was saying on the phone again? A Professor … A harmless task!

There is an Order supposedly keeping secrets. Its members hide obscure knowledge and awesome treasures because they think ordinary people are not worthy of sharing them. They would only crave to possess them and would not understand them anyway. The Professor claimed he is a member of the Order of Knowledge Seekers. He is convinced that all knowledge and every treasure belong to mankind as a whole and must therefore be accessible to everyone.

There always was fierce animosity between the two Orders until the “Great Game” was introduced in year 1551. From then on the Order of Knowledge Seekers has been entitled to select a group of absolutely ordinary people and challenge the Order of Secrets once a year. The latter is obliged to accept the challenge, take the stake (treasure) onto neutral grounds and choose the test.

If the champions find the treasure within 3 hours, they will prove that ordinary people are worthy of knowing about the treasure, which is then immediately handed over to the public. If they fail, the treasure is lost.

You are the chosen ones. Take up the challenge and show your valour!

If you accept the task, come to the Time Busters headquarters to collect the items Prof. Perl has gathered and follow the instructions that will take you all across Vienna. As a sign of your commitment one team member will carry the Professor’s talisman around the neck and your life will never be the same again!

Our outdoor adventure in Vienna is a team game for up to 8 players who are happy to spend their free time together on the move. Three hours of riddle solving and conjecturing while walking around the historic centre of Vienna are a thrilling experience for young and old.

The game begins at the Time Busters headquarters (Mosergasse 6/1, 1090 Wien), but does not end there. We suggest you wear clothing appropriate to the weather conditions. In the course of the game you will twice be asked to take means of public transport: Tickets are not included in the game fees.Bookings for outdoor missions may be postponed in case of bad weather if you call no later than 11:00 a.m. on the same day. Mission: THE VAULT

A VAULT – A SECRET? • IS YOUR TEAM AS FAST AS YOU THINK?

If you choose this mission, your team will be given the task of retrieving an important object from the vault. Upon opening the entrance door you will set off an alarm. Over the radio transmitter you will hear the police closing in. You will need to keep calm and look for another exit, because the way you came in is already surrounded. As special agents you have a simple plan: get to the vault, retrieve the important object and look for a different way out (exit).

Ideal mates on your team are: the Hacker, the Brain, the Escape Artist and the Lady.

Mission: TEMPLE

WILL YOU BE SEDUCED BY THE TREASURE? • WILL YOU BE ABLE TO OUTPLAY A REAL OPPONENT?

Your team has to discover the last secret of the temple. A fiddly task that demands tactical and logical skills. But beware: it always seems harmless in the beginning! Equipped with a leather pouch full of previously collected tools, you are standing at the entrance of the temple when you realise that you are not alone. There is someone else with the same assignment here! Suddenly, you have to speed up your pace.

Whatever the weather, you step into the temple and begin your quest for the four seals. If the other team breaks one of the seals, you will hear and see it. The closer your rivals get to the treasure room the faster your heart will be beating. Will you be able to keep a cool head?

By choosing the “Temple” mission you will be choosing a CHALLENGE: thrilling action, even for larger groups!

Mission: CONTROL CHAMBER

IS YOUR ASSIGNMENT ONLY FEIGNED? • WHERE IS DANGER LURKING?

Your and your team’s task will be to inspect the control chamber of a research facility which was closed down by the police several months ago. Exactly what happened at the time has not yet been cleared up. What dangers are still lurking in there? While you are still wondering how to fit the pieces of the puzzle together, you will find yourselves as our detective unit inside an elevator. The elevator will take you to the control chamber which lies 50 metres below the earth’s surface.

Equipped with torches you will step into the pitch-black room and immediately start looking for the main switch. Are you ever going to come back from the darkness of the control chamber?
